There may be some crossover services between accounting and bookkeeping but generally accounting services pick up where traditional bookkeeping ends and continues with the "higher-level" processes needed to ultimately generate complete financial statements.

• Accounting services usually begin with the preparation of a working trial balance.
• We can then assist in adjusting the books of account.
• At your request we can consult with you and your staff on accounting, tax and other similar matters.
• Accounting services sometimes includes the preparation of local, state and federal tax returns.
• If needed, we can provide you with manual or automated bookkeeping or other data processing services.
• Occasionally we are also called upon to perform duties as a “Controller-for-Rent” or “Controller by the hour”.
• It is important to point out that accounting services does not, by itself, result in the preparation of financial statements.
